Festive fun since 1918

Held annually during early October at the Jaycee Fairgrounds located on Fairground Road off US Business #1 north of Swainsboro. Rides are provided by Midwest Midways. There are commercial exhibits. Exhibits by 4-H'ers from Emanuel and surrounding counties can be viewed. Various animal competitions are provided by the FFA clubs. Fair beauty pageants are held nightly. Special entertainment is held several nights during the week.

1918 - 1935 Operated by a group of local businessmen
1936 Operated by the American Legion
First 4-H exhibits
1937-1944 Operated by the Emanuel County 4-H
1945-1977 Operated by the Emanuel County 4-H and the Swainsboro Jaycees
1978-present Operated by the Swainsboro Jaycees
1979 Moved to the current fairgrounds
