The Miss Emanuel County/Miss Southeast Georgia Pageants are held annually on the first Saturday in August in the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Auditorium. The pageants are sponsored by the Swainsboro Jaycees. This is a Miss America preliminary pageant. The winners of these pageants compete for the title of Miss Georgia each June.
